Children’s Care
Children's health rarely follows a straight line. Some families come to us with a specific worry – a milestone that hasn't arrived, a behaviour that's hard to navigate, a symptom that won't settle. Others are looking for a second opinion, or simply for someone who will take the time to listen and explain properly.
Whatever brings you here, Nest Children's offers specialist paediatric care delivered the way we'd want it for our own children: calm, thorough, and without judgement. We take a whole-child approach – looking at the complete picture rather than a symptom in isolation. That means working with families on the foundations of a child's health, like sleep, nutrition and environment, alongside thoughtful, evidence-based medical care. When medication has a role, we use it deliberately, as one part of a broader plan rather than a stand-alone answer.
Our paediatricians care for children of all ages, from infancy through adolescence, across the full breadth of paediatrics – with particular depth in development and behaviour.
We take the time to listen – properly. Our appointments are unhurried, our explanations are clear, and we work with you on a plan you understand and feel confident about.
For families who've felt rushed, dismissed, or quietly judged elsewhere, Nest is a different kind of room: calm, respectful, and on your side. We're family-owned and clinician-led – built by people who wanted care to feel different, and run by clinicians, not a head office. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out, and no concern is ever too small to bring to us.
If your child began their journey with us as a newborn, you'll find the same practice and the same values that guided those early months – and a team who already knows your story. And if you're coming to us for the first time, you're just as warmly welcome.
What it's like to see us
How we can help your child
Considered, unhurried care through childhood – developmental and behavioural assessment, general paediatrics, and bulk-billed second opinions. A calm, judgement-free space for families looking for clear answers and a steady plan.
-
How your child is growing, moving, communicating and learning – including developmental delay and concerns, and formal assessment for autism (ASD) and ADHD.
-
Support for the behavioural and emotional questions of childhood – from sleep, feeding and settling in the early years, to attention, regulation and the challenges that emerge as children grow.
-
Sleep, nutrition, activity and environment shape how children develop and behave. We build these foundations into every plan – practical, evidence-based support alongside medical care, not instead of it.
-
Everyday childhood health – growth and nutrition, common and recurring illnesses, allergies, tummy and toileting troubles, and the many questions of raising a child.
-
A considered, unhurried review when you'd value another specialist perspective – with time to understand the full picture and talk through your options. Our second-opinion consults are bulk-billed, so there's no cost barrier to a fresh set of eyes.
-
Fees
We keep our fees consistent with general paediatric care – capped and published openly – and we lodge your Medicare claim for you.

Second opinion consultation – bulk-billed, no cost to you

Where to start
Children’s appointments
Nest Children's begins welcoming families later in 2026. You're warmly invited to register your interest now – registered families will be offered appointments first as our books open. A GP or specialist referral isn't required to be seen, though one is needed if you'd like to claim a Medicare rebate.
Referring a patient
As Nest Children's opens, we'll welcome referrals for developmental, behavioural, medical and second-opinion paediatric care, via Medical Objects or email. We offer a comprehensive approach – integrating sleep, nutrition and behavioural support with thoughtful medical management.
